North Sichuan Medical College

North Sichuan Medical College is a public medical university in Nanchong, in the northern Sichuan (Chuanbei) region. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across clinical medicine, basic medicine, public health, nursing, pharmacy and related health sciences, and trains a significant share of the region's clinical workforce through a network of affiliated teaching hospitals.

The college traces its founding to 1951 as North Sichuan School of Medicine, one of the earliest medical schools established in northern Sichuan after 1949. It was renamed North Sichuan Medical College in 1985 and has since expanded from a medical-specialist school into a multi-disciplinary provincial medical university offering both bachelor's and master's degrees.
