Ningbo Polytechnic

Ningbo Polytechnic is a public higher-vocational (associate-degree) college in Ningbo, Zhejiang. It is NOT a bachelor's-degree-granting university -- it offers three-year diploma/associate-degree programs. It is one of China's better-regarded vocational colleges, recognised as a national demonstration higher-vocational institution and a national high-level vocational school with distinctive Chinese-characteristic and professional-group-construction status.

The college was formed in 1999 through the merger of predecessor institutions in Ningbo, building on a combined institutional history of more than 60 years. It has since grown into one of the first batch of national demonstration higher-vocational colleges, with recognised strength in teaching management, international engagement and teaching resources.

The campus is in Ningbo, a major port city in Zhejiang province, and supports both full-time vocational students and a larger population of part-time and continuing-education students, reflecting its role as a broad vocational-training hub for the region.
